Where has the time gone!!! I had a great summer, hope you did too. I learned alot of new things.... like surfing and swimming in a large pool (without my safety vest). You know my mom, I had to wear the vest or I would sink to the bottom of the pool. I managed to get all that taken care of. Then to finish off my summer we took a trip to the coast to enjoy a few days at the beach. It was the greatest!!!But now it's back to SCHOOL!!!! I have the same teacher I had last year. Okay now, before you start thinking I didn't pass, let me tell you I did, it's just that my teacher moved up to teach the 3rd grade. Isn't that the greatest? Do you think she's thrilled to have me in her class again???
I've already been busy learning new things. Lots to learn in this grade you know......like multiplication, division, handwriting...and the list goes on and on. My mom says, "the 3rd grade is a very important grade... you have to take this big test in the spring and if you don't pass... you'll have to stay in 3rd grade" so I will work really hard this year to make sure I pass.
Needless to say, I've had a ruff start staying on task - but I am sure I will get better...after all it's only the 3rd week of school.....still have lots of bad habits from the summer.
