Three Days To The Hockey Bee!!

Time is nearing for my big spelling debut. The Bee people really didn't give us a list to study....they just said...get a dictionary!!! Go figure...there are lots of words in a dictionary...where do you begin??????

My parents have been calling out random words to spell. We have 2nd and 3rd grade words we found since I already knew the 1st grade ones. I've done pretty good so far. Saturday will tell the REAL story. Please be sure to think of me around 4 p.m.....that's the time of the Bee at Trinity University. I'll be sure to let you know how I do.

My week has gone pretty good so far...I've had my up's and down's but I'm hanging in there. Maybe I'm getting spring fever. I might have to get my Mommy to call Dr. P and ask him about these feelings. I go to bed early every night, but when they call we in the morning...I'm still tired. By the end of the school day I am beat. This is surely a sign of something in the air. Thank goodness Spring Break is right around the corner!!! :-)

Yesterday there was a "Quiet Zone" in and around our school. We had to be extra quite all day long. The 3rd and 4th graders were testing and didn't need any noise. We had to tiptoe everywhere we went. I sure hope they did well cause I did my part.

On Monday evening I went online to my favorite site... "Ticket 2 Learn". I read quite a few stories (which I used as part of my homework reading assignment) and boy did I rack up the points...of course I wanted to spend them as soon as I got them (need to learn some self control. But, I am now the proud owner of a rocket, a teddy bear and a frog in my clubhouse. I wish I could show you how cool this clubhouse is. I'm working on some outdoor stuff for my yard. Then I will finally be able to leave the clubhouse. We all need fresh air once in a while you know.

Enough for today...tomorrow I will tell you about the guitar I got for Christmas from Grandma Dora. I really want to learn to play. I guess I'll have to get a book with instructions so I can learn. That would be AWESOME!!!!

Special note to Mrs. Ortiz:
Hope you're feeling better...take care of your foot. I miss you. Come back soon, my after school life is not the same without YOU!
